Fascinating yet very frustrating that one person cannot be challenged and removed for initiating a catastrophe which could expand to engulf the whole world.

Russians value manipulation and keep ignoring the truth. Let's don't get trapped in trying to understand their explanations. The West was doing that for long time. I think we are done with this.

Putinella Shanghais The Russian People.

"Russia" is the name of the ship they were tricked into boarding.

It is a ship of state with an old, rusty, leaky hull,

and a demented, delusional captain of too many years at helm.

It's a captain who doesn't know how to navigate or read a map,

a captain who has no idea where he is going.

The ship of Russia sets off with old, about-to-fail engines,

a crew and officers who brought on board a lot of vodka,

and an attitude of not giving a damn about their duties.

The ship of Russia has developed a hole in its hull,

rusted through from lack of proper care and maintenance,

and is sinking without radio contact to rescuers.

The captain orders everyone into life-boats, but there aren't enough.

The ship of Russia is going down.

From what's written here it seems Putin's behaviour is quite similar, both in style and even some content, to a certain Donald Trump i.e. totally misinformed and rather paranoid and crazy. No wonder Trump called Putin a clever genius. This was a very helpful article - thank you Farida.

It is frightening that one man has so much power and is allowed to decide & act alone.

To all Russians that are reading this: don't be afraid to speak out, Puttin cannot put you all in prison. You are many and stronger than him.

To any Russian politicians or members of the Duma that may read this: it's in your hands to change events and history. Not through war but by removing Putin. You owe it to the Russian people.

Have the COURAGE to do what is right. GET Putin OUT and stop the destruction of Russia & neighbouring countries. The war in Ukraine is going to be a disaster for Russia's future. Russia is a great country and deserves better.

From Paris, with LOVE.

Would things have got this bad if Bush & Blair hadn't de facto declared the international order and rule of law dead when they defied the UN to mount a war of aggression against far away (from their shores) Iraq? ANd before then, Blair and Clinton's 'military action' against Serbia?

Westerners - certainly the USA, UK and other states that supported that war of terror against Iraq - stink of hypocrisy and selective outrage. Ukrainians are precious - thought not enough to risk a war with Russia over - but Iraqis, Libyans, Syrians, Afghans, Yemens, et al hardly matter

Thank-you. Might mention that your PayPal link is British, I guess, with British Pounds as the currency which is not useful in America.
